How to Write an Analysis Dissertation
An analysis dissertation consists of a study of a particular text, topic, philosophy, etc. representing a unique argument about it in a manner that contributes to its understanding. It is written mostly by doctoral students in order to achieve their Ph.D. and is most commonly written on a topic in humanities.
While typically analysis dissertations follow standard formats as governed by the university of the writer, there are some basic guidelines that apply to all analysis dissertations irrespective of the university. This article presents some of these guidelines for quick reference.

The writer is expected to select a primary source text or document that is in its original form without any editing.
